I'm also obliged to note that Reading has an active Isles of Darkness (formerly Camarilla UK) domain running the new World of Darkness games under the current incarnation of Mind's Eye Theatre. They definitely have Vampire: the Requiem and Mage: the Awakening games, I've a sneaking suspicion they're running Changeling: the Lost as well (and if not, there will be a game of said running within striking distance of you).

Eos: Manius Shard. Green and gold shiny healy thing.

Shadow Wars: Johnny Hyper, Hack the Planet!

Odyssey: Was Prince Ramekhet IV, of the line of Nectanebo etc etc; now Quintus Antoninus, sentimental fool err... philosopher of Rome.

Reading also has a linear High-Fantasy LARP (set post apocalypse, read the background go figure) called Shattered Reality run by the Reading University Games and Roleplaying society (GARPS) - we're open to anyone who pays the ten quid membership fee and it runs every other sunday in university term time, the forums can be found by searching google.

Have only just noticed this thread so its abit short notice, saw in your post that you played Mythlore, this is reunion year, there's been one already which i went to and great fun it was, the next one is the 18th-20th this month, being run by the guys at burnt is clean, www.burntisclean.co.uk will have the info, i might just take this oppurtunity to plug our own which is heroes and dragons the weekend after, details here http://irregularproductions.wordpress.com/
Again very short notice, but you might be able to catch up with some old mates at the Mythlore reunion.

Cheers ian

Ah say "Whoa there boy"! What's all this "old fogey" nonsense? At 40 you're a mere lad If you're an old fogey, I'm Methuselah at 63! I only started larping in my fifties. Don't know anything about games in the Reading area but if you'd consider a modern sci fi game, come to Stargate. If you wear some ageing makeup maybe people would stop calling me "Old Man"

Maybe Legion of Dreams may be worth a look for you too.

They've been going for about two decades now, and many players have been around since the days of gaffa swords so you certainly won't be alone.
