| Plastic gazebos. They're not too expensive and they hold a lot of people and stuff. The downside is that they tend to come in one color - White. Is there a way to make them not-white? Regular paint will chip and peel off quite quickly, I'm guessing. Making new walls out of cloth is a bit more money than we are looking to spend at the moment, but may be an option for the future.

I think it would depend on what manner of material the Gazebo is manufactured from. Either synthetic fabric, course woven plastic or plastic sheeting. As most fabric paint fairly well I will surmise that you are looking at one of the other types. For either of the plastic cases I would use an strong high solvent paint which with any luck will bond well with the plastic of the gazebo. The types that leap to mind would be solvent filled house paints (not water based), car paint or other metal paints. The only problem is they may bond too well and corrode the plastic so I would recommend a trail run first. The most difficult to paint would be the straight plastic sheeting but a paint similar to those covered above should give you a favorable result.

They are indeed cheap, and quite large, and with a bit of customisation, they can even be made stable in a high wind. Be aware, though, that most of them are only "shower proof", any serious amount of rain goes straight through, as I found out one wet Omega, fortunately I had some extra tarps to sling over the top.

You can get a product called vinyl dye in rattle cans for this colouring plastics, I'm not sure if its compatable with the plastic the gazebo walls in question are made of, but since its a dye not a paint (goes on like spray paint though) it doesn't crack/flake
