Perhaps my search-fu is not strong this morning, but I have been unable to find a webpage or forum which collates all the UK LARP events into one place... it seems that someone must have done such a thing in this glorious Web2.0 world. Is there one out there? Linky please!
(If you care why, it's cause I want to try out more events than my usual, and it takes a lot of organisation because I need to take a day off work to travel down to events in England).

Until Shelford had pointed it out, i had completely ignored the one on here, have now added our Sept one and having now used it, its ideal. Just need to encourage people to use it more (idiots like me it seems )

Is that the Calendar link in the top right? I was searching for 'events list' and similar in the threads.
That's exactly what I was after, it's just up to the organisers to put their events in there I guess to make it comprehensive enough to be really useful.

yep that's the one......I seem to remember Mr Stroud said anyone could update it as well so they don't even have to be the game organiser. Would be useful to have everything on there really. So at least game organisers can know which weekends to avoid clashes?

WARNING - Plug alert
It's an excellent point, a simple to read calander with loads of events in it is exactly what we need to get organised in our hectic world of hack n slash. However can I use this as a chance to try and make a desperate plug for Bladelands, conspicous by our presence on the newly re-discovered Calander link
We've got a player base of between 30-40 with about 25 at each event, its awesome stuff, with a mix of free form and linears reffed by a number of really rather lovely people who only occasionally kill your character (well that last bit is a lie but they're members of this forum so I have to be nice about them) - and we're really keen to get anohter 10 or 15 people playing on a regular basis. Moreover we're currently running a new players scheme to keep the first time costs to a minimum. So, if you're around on 7th, 8th and 9th August and would like to know more, head on over to the Bladelands site (www.bladelands.co.uk) or message me or just turn up on the day.......

I've been desperately trying to avoid pointing out that the upcoming EOS event isn't on the calendar! However I've had a couple of pints and am willing to point it out with a big fat smiley at the end of my post!

Eos is just far too superior to be listed alongside other lesser LRP campaigns, you know that !
