Hmmm, in my first post I did almost write "suspiciously cheap" but didn't in case it started some sort of flame war with a rule7 denizen who owned the company... so, in short, I'd make my own roman shoes if I was you!

I bought 8 swords from them for my wedding.  Luckily I was able to go and collect them as they are based in birmingham.  They are pretty good and will allow you to do that.  But as for delivery times, can't comment.  But they are well cheap.

One thing to be aware of about planet trading - I have been waiting 4 months for an order even though it was supposed to arrive within two weeks - I've had numerous assurances for other "arrival deadlines" all of which have long passed.

I have had similar experiences - a delivery time of two weeks turned into three and a half months, with constant assurances. Requests for refund or substitution were refused.

Order now for Odyssey 2010, IMO

That's interesting, I don't think they can legally refuse a refund can they? Especially if you haven't even had the products yet. I've asked for a refund now so we'll see what happens.

There's not an automatic obligation to refund.  Late delivery doesn't automatically entitle you to rescind the contract and therefore get a refund.  It's not good policy for word of mouth referrals and marketing etc though.

This is why it's adviseable to buy things with a credit card over the net.  The ability to withdraw payment is a powerful thing.  Although saying that I never follow my own advice and almost always use a debit card...go figure.

Well, I did pay by credit card, but I've now received my order anyway - only 4 months overdue! Would have been annoyed that the greaves and vambraces I ordered were the wrong colour except while waiting I decided to go with brass greaves instead. I can use the brown leather ones for Thromm so I'm not fussed. Can't recommend anyone buy from Planet Trading though - wrong items, no reply to e-mails and terribly late delivery.
