Early days of course but everyone will have a favourite I'm sure. I'm gonna see if I can hustle together a group of Carthaginians.
This game is gonna kick ass

At Strom I play an Independent crafter, almost totally outside of all politics and conflict. Therefore, I'm going jump into something different for this game and plump for a Greece to see if I can play a Corinthian Hoplite. Plenty of internal bickering and spear chucking! I'll most likely still be a little fish in a big pond.

I think its gonna have to be Greece for me too. If I get to fit in playing around trading. But I'm very, very, very, very excited about making stuff.
EDIT But like Bacon says there is too much choice. Persians with bling and hats.

I'm going for Greece so I can get a Graecian League going like the I was a part of during the good old days of LT, though Robin Hood types will be burned alive. Possibly with real fire.
Hoplite skirmishers all the way ... except I'm no longer 17, fit, and packing a 28" waist.
*edit*
Noblet: The Graecian League are formed from Corinthia and Argolis, so if I do manage to get legs in the idea you're welcome to join since we're primarily going to be Hero Class characters anyway.

Persia for me! I like the idea of the big pants and a curved sword. It's the simple things.

Apparently the Kukri was at one time used by the ancient greeks so we may have to talk...

Not much interest in Egypt at the moment - at least Amun Sa gear will come in handy. I wonder if the Gods will be phys-repped? I'm pretty sure the egyptian gods used to mill about on earth and the Greek Gods were always down here stealing our women (and men!)
