Rubber cement includes any solvent-evaporating polymer-based adhesive. Copydex is an example (ammonia/water based solvent). Naptha is a petroleum distillate, between gasoline and benzine, but it's a broad category. 'Light' napthas are those high in paraffins, apparently (huzzah for Wikipedia).
Our local art and craft supplies store actually carries a 'rubber cement thinner'. That plus carpet-laying size tub of Copydex?
Properly reduced (ie thinned), anything can be atomised for airbrush use, including something like this. Ensure first however that you a) have plenty of appropriate solvent to use as gunwash and clean the airbrush through promptly, and b) the surfaces and internals of your brush aren't attacked by the solvent you're using!

| A US site called "Monster Makers" sells a lot of paints and equipment for mask making and they published a how to on painting masks: http://www.monstermakers.com/paintdemo.html. You might be able to get something useful from there.

Yes, I had read that site but unfortunately it has the common problem that products are know by different names state-side or that some products are not so easily available in this country.
It is a good site and provides some good methods and ideas.
