Hey guys,

Attached to this post is a draft of a revision to the system. We've gotten it out quickly while the lessons of the event are still fresh and are keen to hear/read your feedback on the proposed changes. Once again, they're visible in markup so should be easy to spot.

Also, a change to the XP system: we are considering awarding a blanket 10XP per event from now on, but deducting points for objectives you don't achieve. While there is actually no difference in the amount of XP you'd take home, we're keen to make clear that our game world punishes failure rather than rewards success.

Sorry, I should make it clear that the DT are in a bit of an odd mood today ;-)

Insurrection LRP: high fantasy in a dystopian setting.  Event Three is May 14th-16th 2010, at Stock Wood.  Book now for a £10 discount!  Event Four is October 15th-17th 2010, at Consall Scout Camp Site.

Bladelands: Raoul Twice-Dead - hunter, killer, witch and trouble-maker
EOS: staff (probably the best job in LRP!)
Maelstrom: Carlito Rossini of the Sol Igneus Company (est. 1659, incorporated in Terino)
Odyssey: some Persian Immortal, details TBC

some nice changes in there.

Only 1 question, with the changes to training is it possible to still learn at event or will this be diminished in some way?

Other changes we've added:

We've doubled the maximum production allowed by a given level of infrastructure on land

Im Assuming this is post the attachment going up? At the time of the 1st post you had taken 5 points off intermediate and advanced.

E.g Cloth was

Basic = 5

Intermediate = 15

Advanced 25

It was changed to :

Basic =5

Intermediate = 10

Advanced = 20.

A lot of things in Insurrection are based off a stepped progression, that used to go 1-3-5 but now goes 1-2-4. You can see it in the XP costs and in loads of other things -- so when we changed the XP costs we changed all those other parts too.

The change to the benefits of infrastructure now means that e.g. Cloth gives you:
Basic - 10
Intermediate - 20
Advanced - 40

And Food gives you double that.

Only due to a word-flow error.  It's actually on page 25 (of 33) but will be on page 24 (of 32) when I work out what I can excise safely to make best use of space.
