Just like to thank everyone who played and crewed for us. You guys made our second event such a fun experience, and our straw poll results (i.e. those folks who told us) so far indicate that people liked the event.

It was a pleasure to see you guys, and I'm sure the other refs will agree with me in saying we couldn't have asked for a better bunch of players. I'd like to once again thank everyone who took time to push Rik around from location to location. The uneven ground would have made it a real hassle to get everywhere under his own steam, and the scythes on his wheels wouldn't have looked nearly so awesome at those lower speeds. (Although they'd still have been pretty damn awesome)

Now, as the power to properly form sentences has not returned, I should sign off and get some serious sleep. Hope to see you all at the next event!

Indeed, thanks to the players, crew, and Design Team (Oli, Nat and Ross) for a really good weekend. As I'm about to go have a bath and then recover before going to London for work stuff for three days *sob* I shan't be too verbose here, and will instead do a proper post tomorrow or something. I'm not sure I've yet recovered from the almighty podding I got from Tom/Zaggrakk while I was playing the Taker of Flesh!

*grin*

Cheers, guys.

I'm not certain exactly where that is right now, but we'll try to get something out asap.

In the meantime, please feel free to email any feedback you may have to either Joe – joe@insurrectionlrp.co.uk or Oli – oliver@insurrectionlrp.co.uk

I'm not sure I've yet recovered from the almighty podding I got from Tom/Zaggrakk while I was playing the Taker of Flesh!

Still feel bad about that, Tho in Zaggrakk's eyes he kicked serious ass!

I had a great event! It started off with me hiding in a bush on my own surrounded by beast kin, thinking up new char concepts as i was sure i was about to die any second (*insert badger story*) I then found myself still thinking up new concepts as i was sure i was going to die wile trying to defend my ritual circle (its mine now!!) from the undead. Then the mood shifted as i was made semi uber for a short wile and got to shout a lot... Then we went to the land of the dead but that was fine as we were saved by the power of orcish singing and boasting! Then i got to smash the big gribbly and save the world!

Winner!!

Another thing that made this event so good for me was I got to speak to other players a bit ooc, Its so much easyer to make friends when your not shouting and half mad. I would hope to have come across a lot less rude and odd than my Shaman but who knows.

A huge shout out to the crew who turned up for the knife fight and storys!

Rick! you made my event! I could not of asked for a greater shaman and all round nice guy! I feel our style of play went very well togther with both of us some how managing to pull out very good points and teachings from each others gibberish. Who else could of got a high elf to dance for there amusement wile they chucked axes at them? You best be around next time, fingers crossed for you mate, i want to see those dance moves!

A huge thanks to all the nice humans who got me water, drink, cake and sweets! A huge thanks to everybody who went on a drug hunt for me when my head felt like it was going to explode!

I was very aware that i held the plot stick for a short wile, I tried my best to give everybody the chance to get involved, I hope nobody felt left out?

A note for future events, Orc Shaman players like hugs and glasses of water. If you see one in a time out area feel free to offer both!

Thanks guys! Bring on Event Three-The return of the Horde

Tom/Zaggrakk/Jester Styles

Yay, event 2 was amazing fun for me, and i think the other Mill Hill lot had a good time as well. Crewing for you guys was a pleasure, IC you're great character actors and good fighters and ooc a good laugh. I'm just disapointed that i spent half of Saturday sleeping or vomiting violently with the headach from hell, but it was partly self inflicted (mixing drinks + long journey reading a map + violence and shouting = sad me), but I'm better now!

My highlights:

Demo and I fighting a high elf after downing his sister. He killed us both but she bled out and added to the plot in the form of him challanging the bandit king to a duel.

Being a member of the orcs who looted fruit, cider and cake left behind in the big tent after the bandit king's discussion.

Contributing to the orc ritual: thats the first time i've told a story like that in a proper event and i appreciate you veterans for coping with a noob such as myself. The knife fight was also a terrific display of violence to watch.

I had the honour of pushing Rick around in his chair a couple of times. He is a great guy and his character was truly excellent, reminded me of yoda.

The zombie horde at the end. It was like a movie how we kept coming out of the woods in waves getting harder and harder against the group of players!

The Mill Hill crew and myself would all like to be at event 3. We were also discussing being players, but we've not made up our minds.

Thanks to the players and refs for the experience and thanks to the caterers. See you next time.

Well, I've spent most of he day plotting for the next one so that can only be a good sign. I still have absolutely no idea why we ended up working for the proffessor and nearly unleashing the end of the world, before Zaggrakk saved us all (except the one's that died).

Excellent event all around with plenty of opportunity to ignore the other factions most of the time and get on with the real work of the revolution.

Good work from the crew for playing such a wide variety of characters and managing to have convinced most of them would finally give me my chance to go visit Ghed.
