DaddyPixon (4/22/2009)
Loved the fact that me and Zagrakk almost had the shortest event ever if it wasn't for the old run and hide in a bush for half an hour. Also many thanks to that badger who almost made me soil myself.
lmao! DaddyPixon (4/22/2009)
Going into the land of the dead was also ace, very atmospheric, especially as my eyes adjusted and I could just make out a large winged shape standing down the path and the evil whispering women who always seemed to end up behind you...

I think we all asked a lot of questions. Seriously though, you and all the rest of the crew were awesome fun to run around with, and I'm still grinning about how much fun the screaming was.I liked playing ghoulies. But I couldn't get all the black off afterwards, and went to sleep looking like a chimney sweep. I was so fun righting all the people who came to the land of the dead, cos I am complete n00b, so all I managed to hit were shields and grass. That was fun. And I was battered by everybody. Was glad I couldn't die...

Just to add my thanks - i've been a long while out of LARP and had some doubts about coming and crewing...but it was a total laugh from my point of view; thanks to the players I got to interact with on a social level (and to anyone I actually managed to lay a sword to rather than simply falling down quickly at!), to the crew for making me welcome (even if occasionally they also made me in charge) and to the refs for being able to give good briefs - which make things fantastic.
Also, nicely done to the Jetters for being amazingly dubious - I approve even if Longwalker wouldn't!

| Good event guys Pretty good overall pace with: Plenty of PC vs. PC backstabbing (thanks players) Hordes of monsters to bash/hide like a coward from (thanks crew) Plot that made sense to me (I am crap as a player and usually miss the plot until it has killed me) and with the right levels of verbal interaction vs. whacking the cr#p out of evil baddies (thanks refs) Special thanks to cooks, whasher-up-ers, logistics and any backroom boys and girls who may not have shown their faces at the event but who are none-the-less vital to the smooth running of and event like this Looking forward to the next one

After spending a drunken night with some of the Orc lot. lots of smashing things up, burning things and the drinking lots but not a great deal of event planning.. We were still laughing ourselves to tears over some of the stuff that has happend over the last two events. So i thought id just say thanks for the memories! We need 4 events a year Joe!
