Thanks everyone involved for some great LRP moments over the last couple of days. It was a wonderful pleasure to be stitched up - both literally and metaphorically by the players and crew on site.
Hope Sunday was as exciting as the Friday and Saturday for those who weren't a slowly rotting corpse - and hope to see some of you guys again in the future!

Odyssey team. Someone kind once said I was designing the game experience. Flattery will get him far.
As with all PD matters, such positions are best sought direct from PD through the usual official channels. Accept no substitutes!

Yeah, big thanks to all the players and crew for the weekend. Cracking death on Saturday night, definitely one of my recent favorites. Lots of great people to roleplay with made for a very fun event.
History is an important source for LRP. Along with other works of fiction.

| Yup. Just wanted to say many thanks to associated refs, crew, cooks, and each person I spoke to during the weekend. Very enjoyable event after a slightly shakey start. Looking forward to Event 3 Dave

Becsandgraham (4/20/2009) the goldon warrior enjoyied himself but god was it cold and thanks to helen for painting me gold and putting up with me Aw, bless you, there was no putting up! You were ace as our Golden Boy and nicely struck the fear of ...... well, something, into people's hearts. Though if you play that NPC again, you are wearing boots. I'd like to add my thanks to all the Refs, players and crew for making my first Insurrection LARP so memorable. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'll be back for more.

Indeed- thankyou everyone, players, refs, caterers and crew. Another really good and enjoyable event.
The shambling horde on Sunday was excellent, with wonderful building tension as they got tougher and we got weaker.
I'll fill out a feedback form shortly, but for now can I just say how much I appreciated the brief, shining moment where I managed to catch up with Nick on the character death scoreboard. He may have been able to claw back his lead with a last-minute stamina bead penalty before the end of play that night, but he's now only a hair's breadth in the lead (or '50% more awesome' as he puts it).
Now, how soon can I start dropping hints about when in October would be convenient for Event Three? I note that I'm not doing anything the first weekend yet (and can probably get out of anything for the last one)...

| Yep, that was a laugh. Moments of high hilarity, moments of dread, the mounting inevitability that Jeter's were finally going to get their well-deserved stomping, then still being taken by surprise when it began... I'm frankly astonished I got away, mind. As bean-counter, I had expected to be pinata #1! I'd like to hear from anyone who had possession of my medicine chest at any point during the weekend, however, since there are things missing from it that I would like returned. (For those who thought I was making too much fuss considering it mainly contained props with no IC value; some of those props are reasonably expensive and it also contained my horn glue and some personal medicines.)

| This is to Joe and Nat and Oli and Ross and all the rest of the crew and players: Thank you all for making a complete newbie feel so utterly welcome! Even though I was clueless and asked about EVERYTHING-
( -"Um... so when you get hit twice on the arm, it means you can't us it anymore, right?" -"Yes, Lian." -"And when if you get hit to zero on your body, you have to physically fall down?" -"Yes, Lian." -"And what if-" -"Yes, Lian" -"What the hell's this 'mystic septic through'?!")
thank you for all being SO helpful and patient, and not making me feel like I was being retarded, and making my first experience in a high-fantasy/ combat-full system so incredibly enjoyable! I might even play for the next event... Yay for LRP! *Jumps around*
