The abillity to post polls is not currently available to basic users. This feature is currently only available to Administrators and Moderators. This is subject to change in the future.

Just tried adding a poll and the facility still isn't there, as this thread hasn't been updated in a while I thought I'd just 'bump' it and see what the current state of play was.

The state of play, is still exactly as stated above. We had planned to roll them out recently, however recent hack attacks and a few other issues have left me short of time to implement fun features like this for rule7. So i'm afraid "watch this space" is still the answer, i'd look for something after maelstrom weekend coming.
