| Yah, Larpies bad. But the Shadies were good. It would be nice if these new awards can turn out as well or better than the Shadies. If the Shadies was the one about three years ago that had some excellent photos.It was 2004. Winning photos are here: http://www.larplist.com/Awards.php The new award seems to be intent on carrying on the good work of the Shadies, not the god-awful Larpies disaster (which is what that video promo that everyone finds so appalling relates to). There's nothing wrong with the idea of awards, it can be a fun way to highlight cool stuff that's out there. But the Larpies just managed to do it in the most stupid way imaginable, trying to tie it to Hollywood and one specific larp (the US larp NERO). Let's put that bullshit behind us and do a cool award.
