| Some of you will already have noticed that the thread on free larp/club advertising has been removed. Many of you will also know that this is not an action that we take lightly at Rule7, and always encourage an end/resolution to a discussion with both sides views aired in the fullness of the thread. In the case of this thread, statements were made in contravention of Item 1 of our rules, which in turn a business owner viewed as damaging to his business. Under the threat of immediate legal action, I decided that my time and resources for Rule7, would not stretch to any kind of litigation, and agreed to remove the thread. As part of this Alltern8 are no longer welcome to post about their site or services on Rule7, as I cannot allow a situation to occur, wherein people post on a discussion forum, and then threaten me with legal action if the thread does not go their way. I would make clear that I am *not* happy with the user(s) that made the offending comments and were particularly aggressive and found in breach of our rules, Allen will be talking to them separately. I'm only going to say this one more time, we will not tolerate personal/direct attacks or unfounded remarks/insults. It's in breach of our rules, for good reason, play by the rules, or dont play at all.

Just to add this is not to say that discussion of these companies is banned on our forum. You may post whatever you wish, bearing mind our posting guidelines.
