Now I somewhat agree with him, but only for very specific events. If somebody turned up to Viking with bright blue Alchopops – I’d be upset. We spend a lot of time (and a fair bit of money) making sure that people eat and drink Viking Stylee and bright blue drinks are not recorded as being the norm in the distant past of the north lands.
However, if say your friendly neighbourhood Jaguar Eidolon (from Maelstrom if you didn’t guess) turned up to a glade with a large jug (not bottle – jug) of blue wicked announcing that he’d like you to try his blue punch surprise – I’d be fine with that. Similarly if the Blue squeaky faerie wasn’t drinking something bright blue – I’d wonder what was wrong.
It’s not the liquid that gets me mostly… it’s what it’s carried in.

The biggest reason to ban lager and alcopops from LRP is that they're both girls' drinks and anyone who says otherwise just isn't hardcore.

| Lager stinks, it smells foul, so I'd back banning it. I drank far to much as a youth in Essex so I can't stomach the stuff now. I'm stuck drinking Cider, Wine and spirits. Alcopops? Yep girls drink em.

| I'd also added clean drinking water to the list. It's too clean. Chuck some dirt in it or leave it sitting around in a bucket. Make it nice and dirty.

I don't care about how IC it is, I was just saying that if you drink lager or alcopops you're clearly a Big Girl's Blouse. The same goes for any cider that isn't flat and cloudy. I wouldn't, however, wish to force my own OOC prejudices (no matter how well founded) on an LRP event.
You're entitled to your opinion as long as you realise it's wrong.

| Ah but I'm using the two pronged spear of banning. On one side you have what I personally don't like and the other banning due to IC reasons. Why ban lager? It looks like frothy ale like stuff.
