Hi, I was just going to check something, as I have some weapons I've been working on for a small game, and as the protypes seem to be working well I was thinking about bringing them to Hyborian tales this year. They're basically a leaf blade short sword, fabric reinforced solid-coreless with a 4" furniture foam tip, and seem to be reasonably durable. As HT was a system where stab safe spears were allowed, I thought it may be with a check (not at all that short sword and buckler fighting is so much fun when you can use the sword properly, not at all.....)
LARP, another reason I'm perpetually skint....

I think we should someday be moving towards banning all weapons that AREN'T thrust-safe, but that in the meantime we should allow other attendees to continue using their old-fashioned swords alongside CAIMHIN's superior new technology.
