Whew. Just got back from Apotheosis and I'm shattered - no idea how long it's going to take me to unpack all this stuff!

It's always tricky starting an event with a new group of any size, especially when it's the last one of the year, but all in all I think this went well.

Naturally the dragon costume not turning up exactly to spec was a bit of a disappointment - but IMO Maya has needed a bit of colour for a while, so the bright pink-with-rainbow-wings scale effect isn't too much of a downer. Shame the Dracoscion prosthetics didn't match, but I think we came up with a pretty convincing IC excuse for Lord Shemhazai to be attended by a crowd of butterfly myrmidons.

Everyone coped admirably with the exploding gazebo on Saturday, and I think it was very well-timed to coincide with Disco Khaniel's run through the marketplace chasing a streaker Justice.

Out of interest, who made the daises, and can we get a set? Revolving flashing lights are very in-setting, and that thing that made the "WUBWUBWUB" noise every time a successful Supplication went off was inspired.

As for Primus - Ash, dude, we did warn you that if you tried to repeat the Foundation costume in -4 with windchill you'd end up regretting it. I hope the skin grafts are taking OK. Get well soon!

The less said about the live chess the better. I may have these scars for a long time.

Likewise. I wish she'd mentioned that "live" was meant in the same sense as "live rail". Now I rfjbnriubn can't stop s\reognripunhgiu twitching. oirngoi5nugbn

On the other hand, it was fun learning to dance the Disco Devil Dance.

Did anyone locate the bar? I couldn't find it for the life of me. Although I could swear I heard some raucous singing from the Maelstrom tent on my way past GOD to use the player computers. Come to think of it, was it always that big?

Damn but that was hilarious. I mean I expected to lose one character this weekend, but three? Kudos to Justice for arranging the wedding ceremony without warning me - I guess it serves me right for wearing a white dress the past couple of events - and thankyou to the lovely Arteman chap who put me out of my misery with such gusto when I pronounced I'd rather be shot than go through with it.
Special mentions also to the lovely folks who joined me in the (tragically shortlived) Womble mokosh clan! It was great playing with you!

I knew it was foolish making a character with an OC goal of "survive at least 1 event".  I should have listened to Oxford more, but I was young and stupid.

But it was an experience, and having tried Badger Mokosh, Womble Mokosh, and Chamber of Delights Foxy Mokosh all in the space of 1 event, I think I am all mokoshed out.  Could the gentleman last seen in the company of the latter please PM me to discuss the return of the.... ahem.... belongings, he removed from her body.

Oxford don't worry about the dragon wings.  I just assumed, natrually, that Jaguar loved me and that the Occo I had taken was a particulally good batch.

Oh and speaking of Disco Khaniel, kudos to the flembic/millense ladies who got down for a good boogie!  I didn't think you could move like that in a corset and big dress!  Clearly I have a lot to learn about ladies fashion.

PD: Was: Borris, Tea Clubs human shield. Now: Kibidachi Yoshikazu, in need of 11 12 more Mokosh, 2 Dryads and an Ophidian.
EOS: Malak, hungry orc number 5.
Insurrection: Tondur Anazon.  The application of unwise science to the practice of warfare.

Well, I for one was disappointed by the solution to the retainer problem, though the new "Soylent Green" contrabando was fun whilst it lasted...

The annoying thing is I can't mention the best thing that happened cos then someone will start yelling "FOIP!" all over the place.

Well most of the event was spent in a long drunken stuper for me, with someone having passed somthing round the first night. Had hoped half of the above was the effect of the alchimahol. Also did any one locate my kit?

And the bar going dry on Saturday was a bit of a downer, but well we only have our selfs to blame.

Must not get in to drinking contest again - humans arn't ment to drink that much...
