I guess cats gets 'hunter' as a racial skill; obviously they are too powerful to be player characters.

Q: Can Eldriss see other Eldriss when they're Visi-shielded?
A: No, but pheromone signaling and the rest of that non-verbal communication that makes Eldriss appear so emotionless to other species means that they're aware of general presense sufficent not to bump into each other and co-ordinate movements to some degree. Probably also sufficent to recognise specific Eldriss you know well and distingish invisible warriors from invisible other castes.
So if you're an Eldriss and want to do hand signals to other Eldriss while invisble you better have made sure that they've bought IR...

Having gained a Flak armour item due to unfortunate deaths and well self preservation I now have a question relating to the types of armour.
How strict are the physrepping rules on what sort of armour constitutes what? IE: what do I need to do to ensure that what I get to physrep the flak will be recognised as flak instead of say carapace armour?

we are more facist about carapace not looking like flak rather than the other way round, but prefer that flak is material covered and 'vest-like' and at the least a matt somehow, so it avoids looking like carapace. carapace by contrast really does need to look like high-tech plate armour and not vestish. if you have a breastplate or similar as flak, it is suggested you put a fabric cover over it.

| I just wanted to check a few things, 1. the sword length is the full length of the sword not just the blade right? 2. Do Skukiers take on their clan name as their surname? Do they even have surnames?

Q the sword length is the full length of the sword not just the blade right?
A Yes
Q Do Skukiers take on their clan name as their surname? Do they even have surnames?
A Not thus far, though nothing stopping you. Again up to you, they are varied and number in the thousands so it is not unreasonable.

Nope.
We answered this somewhere else, but I just thought I'd say it as It has vanished into the pile...
We like the 'hero' aspect of being able to do the sword/gun thing without the ambi skills.

I didnt mean gun/sword - I meant with 2 melee weapons, one doing full damage and one not, does the same apply?

I would say no, as it feels too much against the spirit of the rules. I don't think I'd penalise it if done in the heat of the moment, but wouldn't like to see it as a norm.
