Quick one.. as I'm thinking about stats.
The Cybernetic Medfit Implant works "as Auto-Med"... does this mean it'll only be any use for me, or can I hook myself up to others as well (bwahaha...)? I'm thinking the former but wishing the latter...
(Thanks go to Marianne for pointing me over here btw, I need a new scifi LRP in my life.. )

It is personal.
This is due to both it's integral surgical nature and that I can't be arsed to sit and work out the Rp and rules for a custom job that can be used on external subjects.

Oh yeah, and they are still susceptable to Tec Glitch. So you all know what to do: either Pulse them first then shoot, or just keep on hacking....
Not that I'm putting ideas into anyones heads.

| Hello there, potential newbie here - Just wanted to double-check my understanding on psionics: psi pulse - tech glitch level 2: there's no duration, so it's permanent? [until repaired] Is that correct? Cheers Paul

Psi pulse 2 is permanent unless fixed, yes. Fixing can be with Tech probe or with actual arcane skills.

Yeah, it's the difference between temporary static and melted stuff...

| Non-specific Manbas: No rarities listed for skills/gear - I assume vrare/rare same as all other Manbas characters. Nanolords and Attributes: Doesn't say one way of the other, but can points be spent subsequently to upgrade systems or is your shift always the same as your initial choices? In the same vein, regarding the 'Extreme' variants - if systems can be upgraded is it possible to upgrade from the 'normal' version to the 'Extreme' version at reduced cost or do you have to pay full whack? And if you have 'Extreme' is it possible to make the choice to not go the whole the hog and ust shift to the normal version? (Because it might get messy if you Extreme Aggressor or Armoured Hide whilst wearing armour when all you wanted was Aggression Growth or Toughened Hide ) Regarding Vrare: Is it a deliberate choice that there's a fair chunk of Vrare equipment, and not a single character choice that has access to them ? Find it or make it would hence appear to be the only way to get hold of them - making the rp cost a bit redundant!

| >Find it or make it would hence appear to be the only way to get hold of them - >making the rp cost a bit redundant! Even if you make stuff with the craft/arcane skills, you still need to pay the RP cost for it, so knowing the cost is useful. It also gives you an idea how much it is worth if you find it and want to take it back to trade it in.

| Yes, as far as I can work it out, the XP is 'resources, reputation and time' which you have to use to 'get stuff' like training, equipment requisition and time in the workshops/labs and other facilities. The more experienced you are, the more 'stuff' you get. So, most normal equipment (like stub guns and the basic armours) any idiot can claim if they have the XP. The rare stuff, you need the XP AND a level of the skill to make it - the xp is used to 'book time in the workshop' where you can make it. Of course, some of the skills for making stuff are also rare...

| In which case - if they are seperate and individual systems, do they stack? Only one I can think of off the top of my head that is applicable is Toughened Hide/Armoured Hide/Thermal Resistance. Would you get +4/+4 from activating both TH and AH at once in a location as per TH giving +1/+1 to any other armour worn at that location on top of the AH's +3/+3 or would it simply be +3/+3 from AH as it overides TH shift? Similarly, can TR be stacked with either to provide a further +0/+1? My gut feeling is no, TH + AH isn't on, but + TR might be. The rules wording though appears exactly the same. Just as an aside, whilst I'm contemplating a Nanolord character I'm only letting the pedant in me out. I've no intention of creating some kind of inviolate Franken-lord. Well, not to start with anyway.
