Screw it. My humble opinion (and I swear I'll shut up after this) is to go ahead with November as the poll shows that so far its the preferred date. As long as the venue is indoors mostly and lots of nice hot tea will be served (I'll even volunteer to serve tea to all those brave gentlemen who stomp off to kill the alien who threatens the nice ball), then I really don't think many, if any, people will complain about a bit of a stint wandering around in the cold and dark.
With so many systems going on, you'll be hard pushed to find an earlier date that doesn't clash or come to close to another system's events, so I'll suggest going with November at a mostly indoor venue. Plus, it gives you plenty of time to prepare for it, and any site is bound to be cheaper at that time of year (an less fully booked....if booked at all).

It's the preferred date, but the other dates really aren't friendly. Personally I'd be happier with an early spring event.

I won't be able to make anything that runs this year, so I'd plump for an early (Feb/Mar/Apr) event next year.
Running events like this outside of the main LRP season make it more likely to attract any interested (but not interested enough to miss xyz) parties.
