i do like the idea of the crossbow/pistol very thorough if the bolt doesnt work the ball should do the trick. probably up the tech tree in strom somewhere. now tempted to play a huntress priest with a double derringer holy book

| Im hampered by the fact cant discuss the tech tree on a public forum except in very general tems (and thats very maelstrom specific) But arm crossbows cant be in it due to weapon saftey restrictions (weapon check has the trump card in this area) however gigantic book guns with spikes that pop out.. thats another matter

I think this just goes to show that, with enough time, money and will power there is no end to the ways you can hurt your fellow human being. Or indeed how pretty you can makje the object itself. Fantasy writters haven't got anything on some of those. I was intrested to see a breech loading pistol in their, much earlier than most breech loading weapons. Must have been a pain in the arse to load with one hand!
