Hi hobnail.

Unfortunately cheap is relative but there are several other matters to consider before buying them.

Just a a precaution i'd suggest to check places like ukara (uk airsoft retailers association) for rules on who is allowed to buy airsoft weapons and what hoops you need to jump through to get them.

http://www.ukara.org.uk/node/18

Assuming that your already an airsofter and are entitled to buy weapons under the defence in the VCRA then unfortunately i dont know where you can get these items.

I have to say though, given that you wanting these specific items. am i right in assuming your building a pulse rifle?

ukara membership isn't a legal requirement, but does re-assure a retailer that you are entitled to the special defence described in the VCRA:  http://www.ukara.org.uk/node/13

You could try one of the airsoft community forums, a lot of them have 2nd hand sales notice boards...some players will be very cautious about selling if you're not ukara registered, some will be less so; if you can show that your project is covered by the permitted activities description.
First thing is to make sure that you're happy you're covered by the permitted activities description

First off , thanks guys

I'm well aware of the new airsoft regs and all the hoops to jump ,but i appreciate you watching my back on that ,secondly Yes I'm building a pulse rifle  (IF I CAN GET THE PARTS! ) My scratch built on from 15 years ago just doesn't cut the mustard any more .I dont really want to buy one of the kit versions, but i would like to take make it a bit easier by buying copies of the originals weapons used. I have a massive amount of referance for this ,I even got to measure up and photograph a de-activated  thompson some years ago,and i have no end of web based reference point s aswell.

Still if you hear anything let me know , this project will be a slow burner.
