well there are several possible reasons for this although perhaps this conversation is better placed in the kit discussion section of the forum. also if you need leather armour and your local i may be able to make some for you.

Yeah, "stuff" can be expensive- though I've not found LRP store to be particularly so. Expensive is relative though and these people are trying to earn a living, so you have to take wages and other costs into account (or make it yourself).

| TO be fair to LRPstore I used to be critical of them because they never sent me an order I made in their first few months when i'd won their first "register and get £100 voucher competition" but since then they have repeadtley offered me the same to make up for it, so they show they have good customer care. Also they tend to be incredibly convienient for a lot of people with a good rage of products. looking at their new bucaneer boots I might finally take them up on the offer ;-)

They're convenient - I can get a lot of different types of stuff from the same place rather than paying multiple lots of postage. Whilst some of their stuff is expensive, most of it isn't significantly more expensive than anywhere else once you factor in convenience.
I've ordered from them in the past, I know their customer service is pretty decent if there's a problem (which there has been once or twice). I know that if something goes wrong or they screw up, they will deal with it promptly, professionally and continue to do so until I'm satisfied. I also know, from previous experience, that their stuff is going to be decent quality for the cost.
If I want custom gear, or if I want to feel the stuff before buying it, then I deal with different traders (Darkblade and Evenlode mostly). But if I need more shirts or extra weapons for monstering and that kind of thing, I buy from LRP store.

| To be fair Alex pops down to Fame and fortune every now and then. So if you ask him really nicely he'll drop it off at our event if you pop along. Always had Top Quality stuff from Alex.
