I love playing a priest! i think i did more damage as a priest than I did a warrior. It was a great weekend, I really did enjoy it.
Cheers guys!

| Ok WOT Happened the abridges version An indiana Jones type guy "barbarossa" hired the party to get him to an ancient ruined city once populated by mages off an order way beyond todays, they had to get through an orc underground stronghold on one side of the mountain, then trough a drow stronghold on the other. Once at "expedition point" they set of looking for "barbarossa's" small chest, with promise of anything you find you can have, and off course a huge wad of cash. His last party all dissappeared without trace and he just made it out alive. Whilst exploring the ruins it turned out a powerful Lich (who was once the last of the mages in the past there to protect the city" was a tad "mad" and was killing everything in the city even after death, and not just the demon hoard that sacked the city several millenium before. The party discovered that the Lich had 3 vessels it's undead essence could reside in and set about locating these powerful creatures and destroying them, one was a small helpless girl (hundreds of years old) that caused many a tear and crisis of moral and spiritual well being. Unfortunately in the interim an apothecary was discovered who "willingly" GAVE the party loads of "healing" potions (which also contained a draft charm, thus stopping the party attacking her when they realised who she was in the final encounter). On this apothecary's work bench was a 4th vessel for the lich to hide his essence in, which contained some of his original bodily fluids, Helron being the stand up , go getting guy he "WAS" decided he and no one else, (as it was far to risky for them ) would drink it, (as it was identified to be a powerfull and permanent potion of indiscriminent nature), well he got big and strong and became a 4th Lich hidey hole which when the players found out they had to do away with, so in a sudden and violent turn of events he was beaten to a pulp and passed away The following day in a major battle that stretched all to their limit, the Lich and hordes of summoned undead where finally dispatched and the chest was discovered that "barbarossa" sought. As soon as the key was inserted the Apothecary was revealed to be a demon that appeared from thin air and blasted "barbarossa" to a stunned flaming heap whilst staying safe behind a firewall and the charm potion she had cunningly made the players drink throughout the weekend. She then opened the box, which was actually an extra dimensional prison, releasing a huge fanged beast, with a bulk and power far exceeding any known dragon and released it on the known world to wreak havok, the party and "barbarossa" now have a major task putting the bease back in the box!!!!!

Bloody Vampires! Did it ever strike you as strange that wherever monsters are stirring up trouble, that's where you'll find the most treasure? Why can't there ever be a big haul in a safe place?
