First of all I want to thank you again for your help so far. I have some amazing footage and some very good interviews that are all (very gradually) being woven into a documentary that I'm extremely proud of. However, I need even more help!
Really simple request this time around, though. I am simply awful when it comes to naming things and this film needs a title. I figured that as the film stars you, is about you and is mainly of interest to you then perhaps you would have a better idea of what would make a good title for the film!
I'm looking for something that isn't overly wordy (it's a short film not an essay) and something that isn't too much of an "in joke" or reference that non-larpers wont get. Hopefully you can give me some ideas and I'll either use my favorite or it'll inspire me.
Thanks in advance!!!

| The last LRP Documentary I saw was Characters in Crisis. It was a good documentary, however is had little to do with the title. I always think the title should reflect the question the documentary examines. So in order to give a good title I would ask what is it the documentary asks?

No Stu, the last documentary you saw was Character Creation. My documentary was [iCharacters in Crisis.[/i] which had everything to do with the title. However Stu is right about trying to shape the title to the content. "Serious Games" or "Serious Gaming" comes to mind from me, but I would say look at what people say and do. You might even find a title from something someone says.

You're right about that.
The documentary now has a bit more shape to it than it did when I attended EOS and it's focus now is looking at LARP as a "normal" hobby which is no more bizarre than some mainstream hobbies. If it's asking a question it's something like "What goes on at a LARP?".
I like some of the suggestions so far, I've got about a week an a half to finish and I intend to make a nice title screen for the film so hopefully I'll come up with something fairly swiftly.

Allen Stroud (6/5/2008)If it mentions "cross country pantomime" in the title, I walk... I quite agree! Any use of the term "cross country pantomime," even in irony or jest, is counter-revolutionary and to be resisted in the strongest possible terms. Grr!
