I think its academic, and you dont need magic to have the skill, but i mibht be wrong here. Ask Rachel, she has the skill.

Exactly how fanatical were duedains priest when it comes to other gods/religeons? Will they be tollerant unless backed up by a lot of heavily armed men, or would they be abusive, verbally or indeed physically?

To make a book, it says you need 3 points in a skill, this is fair enough. But what about languages? 1 point will give a language, so do you need to learn 3 languages to be able to create a book on a single one? And can you copy a book? Where do you get a blank book from? Is it cafted?

Also, can i research into bastard weapons we have seen? I think the cyclops used bastard mauls for example.

Bringing your own godstones

One enterprising player found out where we purchased our godstones and decided to bring his own. Though the player in question did not mean ill in anyway we dont allow players to bring their own to avoid 'tampering'.

You are free to bring your own gems however and should find your own physreps as they are easier to regulate and control.

As far as I am aware you don't need magic to have prophecy.

I have mysticism but not any magic other forms of magic skills and mysticism is a separate skill to prophecy. I'm not very good at remembering rules though so asking a ref would probably be the safest way to go

Hey, i remember reading up a while ago (long time since i brushed up on the rules) about how to learn skills, to my recollection i need to be taught skills to 1 rank by another player/person so to acquire 1 point in pioneering i need a tutor, however it is possible for me to teach myself ranks 2 and 3 from simply pushing myself that downtime, or in Experience Points terms, become experienced enough to actually be better at it.

But i was just offered by kieran(/you (all dependant on whos reading)) to be taught 2 handed sword skill when i already have 1 point, so just to make sure, to acquire 2 handed sword skill: 2 would it be necessary to be taught by kieran/you to acquire 2 handed sword skill: 2 even though i already have it at 1 rank?
