Interregnum: the time between the death of the ruler, and the ascension of their proper successor.
Interregnum: a break in continuity.
Interregnum: an Old World Of Darkness Vampire LARP set in London.
London is held in a state of neutrality. Vampires from two warring factions have agreed to a temporary cessation of open hostility, in order that ancient mysteries be brought into the light. And if they can do while ensuring an advantage for themselves, and for their own side, well, so much the better.
The Interregnum begins on July 13th at The Blue Posts on Newman Street.

Obvious questions:
Can I Play?
Absolutely. We?d love to have you. We don?t care if you?ve never played in a Vampire LARP, or any kind of LARP before. We?re friendly, welcoming, and will do everything we can to help you join in. (And if you?ve played in hundreds of Vampire LARPs before, well, we?d love to have you, too.)
How Do I Join In?
Well, to start with, we?d suggest that you read the various bits of our guide for new players.
People who?ve never played Vampire before, well, we?ve written all that to help you get a handle on the game, but please, don?t panic if you?ve read it all three times, and it still sounds like Ancient Greek as translated by a Martian. You aren?t expected to memorise all of it. This is not a test.
Drop the refs a line at refs@interregnum-larp.org.uk, and we?ll be happy to talk stuff through with you at any time. And if all else fails, then simplest option for new players is to just turn up early to a game. (We would prefer it if you dropped us an email first, though.)
Our game starts at 7pm, but there will be refs on hand from 5pm to help people get things sorted out. We like to meet new people, so please, just show up.

I hope it's OK to turn up and advertise my LARP here, and I hope I've put this in the right place. If it isn't, then my apologies, and if I've put this in the wrong place, if someone could direct me to the right one, I'll move it at once.
This setting it open to characters from the Camarilla, Sabbat and Independant Clans, so those of you who've been itching to try something a bit different might enjoy it, and for those of you who've never played in a Vampire LARP before, well, I'm going to do everything I can to make this new-player friendly.
There's loads more stuff on the website. Get in quick, and reserve the Clan you want today...
Failing that, I can of course, just answer questions here. Anyone got any questions?

With a little under a month to go until kick-off, Interregnum now has a forum of it's own, to go with it's terribly lovely website.
If you pop along to http://forum.interregnum-larp.org.uk you'll find small-but-perfectly-formed forum for the game.
Because it's a players-only forum, it does require that I approve every account that gets created on the system, but I'm on-line pretty constantly anyway, so you shouldn't ever have too long to wait. Well, unless you try and join at 1am on a weeknight, or something...
I hope the couple of plugs I've put in here haven't been unwelcome or annoying. I hope to see some of you on the forum and at the game next month.
