What events are there in the South west Wales area? Any local clubs in Swansea or perhaps Cardiff at all? I know of a couple of events running at candlestone (shards) but I'd be interested to know of any others that use it regularly too.

| cataclysm runs at candlestone, next event is may bank holiday weekend (next one)

From checking their website it looks like the next cataclysm is the weekend after the bank holiday. Was confused for a second as was fairly sure ascendancy was running on candlestone that weekend!
From reading a bit about cataclysm it really doesn't look like my kind of system.

| Sorry mate- that's me being confused- the bank holiday is the week before, nevermind, it can't be everyones cup of tea- if you're in tjhe area anyway pop in and have a look, sometimes web sites don't do an event justice so you never know.

| Hi shven, I'm one of the Cataclysm organisers. Just want to confirm it definately is the weekend after the bank hol. Friday 30th - June 1st. Like Andy said, don't be put off by the web site. It certainly doesn't do the game justice. I can understand you might be put off by the system though if you are a Roleplayer rather than a Ruleplayer. If this is the case though, you should deffinately give us a try, especially given the price of a 'new player' ticket ... £20!!! We pride ourselves in having a complex rules set that we more often than not completely ignore! Players are encouraged to create their own concepts, and the rules are made to fit around them, not the other way around. Take it easy, hope to see you there.
