| I've been asked to post this here on behalf of one of the attending players: The Grand Bazaar - Another cracking event by Nyctophobia. So first the highlights (and I missed a lot of key moments because my Character had other business and because I took a fall on the Saturday night). Once again the power of a non-linear plot added many story layers and enhanced the roleplaying experience. There are often moments when there’s a few characters kicking back and telling tales about there city states, whilst at the same time others are pulled into the main story line AND at the same time again having other players going through their own hellish journeys. This constant stories within stories is fascinating to watch unfold… and you’ll never get to see more than half of it of course. The tavern was set up beautifully and allowed characters to interact with extra comfort. Zanko flipping his lid on the Saturday night. And as usual the sterling quality of roleplay by the other characters and crew. Lowlights were: Losing Conrad, Gwain and the Romarian – all very strong characters in the caravan who will be missed – I hope the players generate new characters for the next event and I know Conrad has already morphed into something else! Once again the food was great – I only saw the Saturday night food (busy elsewhere for the rest of the time) but this was of a superb standard with good variety. I enjoyed scoffing away like a Tirnalian pig whilst sitting in the company of more refined characters. And we must not forget to mention those responsible for the costume, those that actually ran it and those that wrote the thing. Thank you all. Oh, and I nearly forgot the bugs, Petal and Tirnalis – great costume and bloody weird characters. Thank you to you all for another cracking adventure. Zan’ko Rasputin Marcus
