"All is not well for the tribes of the goddess. The omens speak of many vile things.
In the land of our cousins, the creatures of the otherworld fight their battles and the people turn on each other like serpents swallowing their own tails.
The Feg, the horned one, cast his shadow over our land, more turn to his ways and the drune grow fat on the blood of their sacrifices.
The cold winds of the north, sweep down from Tory island once more. The Sea Devils stir in their caves of ice and the chill can be felt even at Beltain.
All these things I have seen, and much is still hidden.
The High King has gone into the earth and none have been found worthy to take his place. We must find the one who will unite the tribes, lest the children of the earth goddess be scattered and enslaved"
Gwyn the blind, addressing the druid council in Durrington
A warband travels north taking the tribute from the druid council and the tribes to the new king of the Finians at the festival of Beltain. Rumour has it he is seeking the Spear of Lug, lost since the sea devils were last cast out of our lands. Some say it is a bid to claim the High Kingship. All know anyone who could claim the spear, would be more than just a hero, they would become a legend.
Anyone wishing to join the warband in their quest should contact us via:

Does this have any relation to the old CHimera Leisure game?

Hi Sarah
No its a newish system, we've been running day linears for about 2 years. Its a dark fantasy world, based on celtic myth & Slaine from 2000ad, with a low/medium hit system.
cheers Dan
Ps good to see an old Questlander still going strong

I've played some of the playtests for this (photos on my flickr) and been quite impressed by them, some surprisingly non-linear for a 3 hour event, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with a weekend event.

Questlands, now thats going a long way back for me... Unfortunately I cant do that weekend. I suggest you pop over to www.bloodredroses.co.uk to do some advertising, as they are mostly based in the Plymouth area, and most of their events run at Caddihoe (they even store kit at Caddihoe)

We still have some free crew spaces left for anyone who is interested.
You will get a chance to play at certain points of the weekend, so if you fancy coming along for a weekend of celtic inspired heroic LARP get in touch.
