So, I think one of my future characters would be improved by having scales on their face. Previous discussion on this forum has suggested that getting individual scales and sticking them on would look a bit lame, and indicated that an aspiring scale-face should get hold of some suitably textured pieces of latex and stick them in place.
However, I have no idea how to acquire this squamous rubber, and I can't get Google to tell me, either. Does anyone here have any suggestions?

If you want some individual scales making up and would like a kit that includes the glue and remover ill custom make you some reusable ones for £25

alternativly, for a purely painted scales look, that still looks fantastic, paint everything a base colour, then put some fishnet type netting over the area's, and sponge on a lighter colour. Gives great looking scales, and is quite quick.
