By the way, there's a good chance the headlines were written by an editor, rather than the original reported - and their main purpose is to persuade people to read the article, rather than to necessarily cast the subject in a good or bad light.

Ravensbourne (5/26/2006) By the way, there's a good chance the headlines were written by an editor, rather than the original reported - and their main purpose is to persuade people to read the article, rather than to necessarily cast the subject in a good or bad light.*Shrugs* I probably over reacted, but I'd _love_ to see some of this "friendly" press stuff one hears about. Maybe it's a hint to raise our game?

@ravenbourne - quite possible, i wasnt the first to put the article up, it was from another site - i was given permission to "print" it aswell - i did very little editing - some rewording at the very start to fit it into larpguide and fonts and bolding
@coffmeister - there are at least 3 or 4 film projects for larp in the coming year that i am aware of, I'm optimistic about those.

Is live roleplay a bad joke?
I think it's quite a good one actually.. keeps me entertained.
Repeat after me: Live Roleplay is a stupid waste of time.

I think he just needs to write articles about something. wouldnt get too upset. so chin up chaps, talc those swords, crack open a tinnie and pour it into a suitable period looking container, probably a tankard from a charity shop, and sally forth unto our rubber masked foes. Whats to be embarrassed about???

Larpists....does sound a little in the league of Cultists...still, it could have been worse.

I felt the article was kinda neutral. Had it's high points at the beggining but yeah, ended poorly.
The journo shouldn't of let on that he/she wasn't engaging the subject with good questions.
Looks to me like a case of lazy journo didn't really research the subject beforehand.
Still didn't think it was embarrassing.
