Is it me or is the general feel through random comments on the forums that Eos is potentially the most exciting larp at the moment, yet this section is also the quietest in actual forum activity?

If other larps are like being chased by a pack of baying wolves, Eos is like treading water waiting for a great white to come up underneath to chow down. Discuss...

I think it's because we haven't had many events to talk about things 'everyone knows' yet and there seems to be quite a heavy FOIP atmosphere which stops us frothing about things that possibly only we know. People don't want to froth about their kit / group ideas / briefings because they / we want them to be all shiny and new to you in play! Once things have been seen in play people will feel more able to publically froth about them.

There may not be so much froth on the forum, but over in Shard-land (Sheffield), it's all we seem to be able to talk about.

LT - Evan Kinmarc - Scout-y, Healer-y, Ritual-y Armengarian Type
EOS - Luca Demetrius Shard - Rapidly Cooling Corpse
Insurrection - Dr Julius von Bismarck - "I love the smell of applied science in the morning!"

"Why are we digging? I'm not sure really. Probably something to do with Genetics."

What someone else said earlier - everyone's busy frantically recruiting. Also the game's in a weird meta-state at the moment where no-one's really entirely sure of its character, because it's all kind of being revealed to us in play, so there's nothing really to talk about that won't potentially spoil some part of it.

Hey! Those poncey elves deserved it (and let's face it, they were getting up everyone's noses anyway). We did you lot a favour.

((btw, OC the players were totally fabulous, the "up the nose" part was the totally IC interactions with other characters and was even more fabulous))
