Question - are you deliberately clashing your events with Maelstrom? I really want to attend your events but I'm committed to PD events already.

Corporal Dirge, Havocstan Military (Pale Guard)
Bakhana's lost its champion; to God he has returned,
To stand before the Tester, in the state his rank has earned.
Our Leader needs an honor guard, an escort, and a crew,
And if you're the best available, I guess you'll have to do.
No Quarter, NO QUARTER! You damn well earned your fate.
Give Basilisk our compliments; we're sorry you are late.
Havocstan: We have two cows, yes we know they used to be other people's cows, anyone have a f**king problem with that? No? Thought not.

No, we actually went out of our way to try and avoid major events. It impacts on the avaliable players and crew. However due to a lack of available sites on other weekends it was either Maelstrom weekends or no weekends. I hope you will be able to make it along at some point.
Thanks
James

Don't forget the Christmas special, which doesn't clash with anything. The next date of our season has been announced too.
27th - 29th March 2009.
Location ; Barnswood Scout Camp, nr Macclesfield.
Event Organisers; Rob Smith, Debbie Collington (yep, that's me).
Now I don't know the PD dates for 2009 but I believe the Mael season tends to start at Easter, which this is before.
You know, a few years back there were cries of the hobby dying. I really don't think so now, which is a very good thing. It's getting very hard indeed to avoid clashing with anything at all!

Hey all. Booking for the next event (18th - 20th July 2008 @ Caddihoe) is going well. There are still a few places left though. If you are interested, head on over to the site at http://www.stargatelrp.com/ There is even a handy paypal button to pay up.
Should be a good event.
James
