| Do you get healer's knee? How do you treat it? how do you prevent it? I normally have a mat or a cloak I can fold over to pad my knee.

| healers knee? is that where you keep kneeling down and so get bad/painfull knees? if so have you thought of nipping to B&Q and grabbing a pair of the knee guards that builders use (they are on there knees alot) you can get leather ones or get other types that you could then pop some leather/metal over and fit them in style to your armour/costume? (also can add more padding to where you need it specificly)

Famer3 (3/30/2008) Do you get healer's knee? How do you treat it? how do you prevent it?
I normally have a mat or a cloak I can fold over to pad my knee.
Presumably this is a nasty ache due to damp knees?
If you don't want to go for pads you could go for wool trousers, as wool doesn't carry water like cotton or denim. You could even put an extra layer of fabric on the back of the knee for extra resistance/padding.

Doodling is an artform, an unrefined one, and it's great for stress relief

Refuse to act like a battlefield surgeon and have a stretcher + 2 bearers and take people back to a tent, with a table and implements!

Shelford (4/7/2008) Just kneel on the injured party? If the rules say contact is required then can't you just stay standing up and put your foot on them?
PD Head Ref- but as all posts here count as being unofficial, you'll need to email rules@PD for the real deal. The PD Odyssey Campaign - the longest development period of any fest LRP system known - coming to you sometime in the next five years...
