| Vampire Bloodlines was stall cos it used the Source Engine from Half-Life 2. The condition for it being allowed to use the Source engine was it wasn't allowed to be released before HL2. As HL2 spent about a year longer in development than it was meant to, VB sat awaiting release for a lot longer than it should've. Which also resulted in the development co going bust There were some blatant similarities between WoD and Underworld, so I can see their point I didn't think Underworld was that bad. Though the sequel was pretty dire Blade 2 had a couple fo redeeming features. (Luke Goss did a good bad guy so he's also the principal bad guy for Hellboy 2), but did cringe at several points. I do recall shouting at the screen with the "light grenades"

| Nothing beats "Mac and Me" for product-placement hell. It was also ultra-bland in a "you can't even rant about how bad it is because of its bland soullessness".

| Yeah ... the fact that Mac & Me features Mac Donalds, and he survived on black liquid which just happened to be exactly like Coca Cola. Transformers was bad for product placement (and generally bad), but that film took the piss. Nukie was another souless film about an ugly puppet that should never have been put out. Oh, and Supergirl 1 & 2.

Richie H-R (3/20/2008) I'm finding it difficult to choose an objective overall winner (or loser), as I've seen a lot of fairly dreadful films in my time - I can't help but wonder how many other people on this forum actually went to the cinema to see Sister Act 2:Back in The Habit (I was a kid, and my mum took me. It wasn't my fault). Looking at recent films, however, Alien Vs. Predator Requiem has to be a strong contender. One of the very few films that I couldn't think of a single positive to thing to say about (even Sister Act has some unintentionally funny white-boy rapping), it made me realise that the first AvP, though far from good, could have been a great deal worse.AvP Requiem was a great film as long as you did the following: 1) Made no relationship between the original Predator and Alien films; 2) Made no attempt what-so-ever to look for a hint of a story line; 3) Laugh at stupid gullible Americans. 4) Didn't pay full price!

| Probably Batman and Robin for me, was £5 in the bargin bin somewhere and thought "it can't be that bad". It is, most expensive blank video I ever brought. Cinema wise has to be Pirates of Craibbean 3: Milking the Cash Cow; no new special effects, Kiera and Orlando where aweful more wooden than the ships, the sea spirt thing was terrible, plot was predictable and awful. Jonny Depp was ok but that was about it. Total waste of time, should have stopped at no 1

3) Laugh at stupid gullible Americans. It's amazing how watchable some films are made by this simple step. Going back to transformers, yes is was naff, but it does have some dialogue and scenes from the original (we watched the original before watching the re-wreaking - original much much better). But I do admit I want a sequel, if only to get a live-action Unicron.

| I get to see films for free as I'm a team leader at the Odeon up north, but still...sometimes free is too much a price to see some films...I'd say Epic Movie was the worst I've ever seen. I went in knowing it would be rubbish...and was even more disgusted afterwards. ~Emma/FitPiggy

For me, the worst of all time is Duel. Saw it first when I was a kid, and thought it was boring. Then got convinced to watch as an adult, well 17 year old, so that I would 'get it.' I got it, it was boring. I know it's early Spielberg, I know it's supposed to be marvellous, but I just don't get it. I just end up wanting the damn truck to kill the bastard after the first half hour.
Now that you've picked up your stones a bit to late to cease that bit of heresy, let me get you all stoked up by saying that I really like Titanic. Then I'll launch into the real blasphemy with...
Serenity - Why-oh-fucking-why did anybody give that muppet a movie budget.
Terminator - Formulaic slasher rubbish.
Terminator 2 - Yet more formulaic slasher rubbish, but this time Arnie can be an underdog hero.
Underworld - I went to see this film expecting nothing, and that's what it delivered.

| The prize for worst / most blatant product placement still has to go to Evolution. War of the Worlds had the aliens defeated by a cold. Independence day had the alien reliance on technology crushed by a computer virus. And in Evolution? Anti-dandruff personal hygeine products! Not content with just having their product on screen, Head and Shoulders got their shampoo to save the world.
