The film version of Andrew Lloyd Webbers' Phantom of the Opera. Enough cheese and ham for an Atkins convention. Only the frocks kept me going. I love a musical, but this was done all wrong...

Funnily enough, I've met Lawrence Monoson (Lt. Pavlov Dill) and he gave a convention talk on exactly why that movie sucked.

heaven above help me.

The live action version of the manga film Fist of the North Star. 80 odd minutes of that crap aussie "Martial Fartist" that I will never never able to recover...

Not that the original was good - except after a few on a friday night.

Blade was a bunch of arse, though -- and people tell me the sequels are even worse! I've never bothered.

Blade was crap, but as for Blade 2 - the bastards owe me 90 minutes!

Underworld sucked but I found the appalling continuity fascinating enough to keep my attention.

Sixth Sense also sucks.

Underworld also stole a lot from White Wolf and everyone involved in that film was sued to kingdom come.

Despite this I hear there was a sequel.

The last anyone heard was the granting of an expedited hearing as far as I know. After which Whitewolf became strangely silent.

Which is probably because they realised that telling people they had their ideas ripped off when they spend a large amount of time producing.... let us say..... derivative work was not a massively clever idea.

Especially when some of their legally presented points of similarity here as follows....

"Werewolves in the WoD are harmed by silver. Werewolves in Underworld are harmed by silver,"

Gosh well done Whitewolf..... brilliant that, I wonder how you came up with that idea.....

Much as I hate to defends white wolf, they arn't saying that they came up with the idea of werewolves affected by silver,  in copyright/interlectual property law cases you have to list all points of simularities, not just the pertinant ones.
