So... I'm looking at the forums for the first time in forever, and i'm noticing that not alot seems to have changed - especially in the offtopic area's. Has all the talk been talked, or are people just feeling as apathetic as me about LRP/life in general?

I should be going to MS this weekend, but I haven't even booked yet (sorry matt). I'd like to engage my enthusiasm, but I haven't got one.

Anyone else feel the same?

Not me matey, I'm all downtimed out...

Trying to move house, sort a mailshot, organise an event and manage a new online booking system does that to you.

Oh and complete some course, go to maelstrom, go to Poland (for work) and write a book.

If you've got some apathetic free time, can you go toddle off and invent human cloning for me please? There's a good lad...

Had the blues for a long while, and my sense of apathy seldom shows signs of changing. But hearing your attempting to make it this weekend cheers me up no end. Gin on standby sir

Welcome back fella. I was thinking we hadn’t seen you on here for a while.

I’ve been out of the LRP game for a while, mainly through apathy and busy real world stuff. But I am getting excited about making stuff to sell. I must admit there’s not much game wise going on that makes me scream ‘great I must go to that’. I’m personally waiting for someone to organize a top notch Steampunk game, loads of groovy props/cosis and moon men. Must have moon men.

Yeh. I died... but i got better.

i'm just trying to work out if it's my own motivation, or whether games really have stopped being appealling of late. I am going to try to get to that free pirate game type thingy though, that looks like a laugh.

There's been a spate of games dying recently, but in reality I think it's just you.  LRP enthusiasm kinda comes and goes, really...

Between setting up Insurrection, looking forward to Bladelands (they announced their dates for this year recently) and hopefully checking out EOS this year, I'm definitely still up for stuff.

Apathy has hit here too. Im just clicking my heels waiting for a game to inspire me enough to get off my backside and do something again. Fallen Managed it (oh woe for the death of a game) but the Kit I was making for the second ill fated event sits unfinished on the dummy looking for a use to inspire me to finish it.

now as someone else said If there were people out there running a fantastically top notch steampunk game with lots of Steamy goodness and cool props well.....that would liven me up again.

I know what Im looking for, just cant seem to find it out there at the mo.

We too are off to the Priate event thingy, so It will be great to see you Tart if you make it, but we are there to trade really with the Grange stuff.
