Now some of you are members of the current SG board and may know what's about to happen, however there may be some of you who maybe haven't seen us for a while, or haven't heard the news, so here it is.
We are forming a proper society, with constitution, elected executive, paid membership, AGM's, annual reports, the works.
This will have two clear advantages, firstly there are clear levels of responsibility in the executive, so you will know who to go to about what. Secondly, as a society we can start to investigate ways of becoming legally registered to help the members get their new shiny airsoft/replica weapons. We're not sure we can do this yet, but without being a society we haven't a chance.
So, this will kick off after the next Stargate event (28 - 30 March 2008) with a meeting after time out to agree the constitution and elect the executive.

An email will be sent to all members of the forum next week (I believe a draft copy of the constitution will be included), but some of you may not be members yet, or thinking of coming to Stargate, so I figured this may be important for you guys to know.
