It's true, it's on the internet so it must be...

OK, so we took the piss, alot. Dragons in 10 x 10 rooms and the like, but you have to start somewhere.

But thanks for all the good times, the late nights, the tears of anguish at the crap dice roles, the friends (and husband) I have met round the gaming table...

That is quite upseting really.

This bloke has basically shaped my life since I first played a game with Dunk after a bored day after school back in the late 70's.

Some of my best memories were huddled around the table with the lights out, candles on and an FX's tape in the background thinking I have only got 2 hits left and I need an 19 to hit with my dagger....... happy days. Now I have trouble finding 1 day a year to even play

Thanks for making my childhood a happy one Mr Gygax

(He obviously failed his System Shock roll this time......)

"What I love best about Maelstrom is that unexpected quality; the shifts in the balance of power. Empires rise and fall in a matter of months and years. Alliances morph and twist. Old enemies are forced to work together. Politics makes strange befellows." - Ian Sturrock
