| 13/04/08 2 handed Maul The two handed maul will now have access to the following three damage calls. These changes will be implemented for the coming event and the weapons/damage calls rules will be updated. 1,Cleave 2,Smash 4,Knockdown Stagger had been replaced by Knockdown. Knockdown will function in the same manner as a trip as per to damage call of the same name but requires that the target be hit in the torso, head or upper arms (as opposed to legs). This will still take effect if blocked by a shield. It can be resisted with a point of discipline.

| 13/04/08 Nickin monster kit! Any equipment (with a few rare exceptions) taken off of monsters (weapons, armour and shield etc) will count as unwieldly. Unwieldly armour: will only ever give its user its level of additional hits per day (as opposed to per reset). Unwieldly weapons: do not allow users to perform damage calls with them. Unwieldly shields: will break following the first combat in which they are hit or when they recieve a "smash" damage call. Deconstruction: Unwieldly weapons have been introduced to slow the stockpile or rapidly accumilating weapons that industrious players have gathered and to allow our monsters to keep their weapons for further encounters. All is not lost though and Unwieldly weapons can be de-constructed into base materials by crafters (though at a much decreased rate compared to gathering skills designed to harvest these resources). In addition to this player made weapons always count as standard (meaning they function normally as described in the rules). Players can create "fine quality" weapons, shields and armour with 3 points in the relervant crafting skill. These weapons give an extra damage call or in the case of armour an extra hit point per reset. Master artisans will be able to create "master crafted" weapons, shields and armour which will be even better again. The full rules for these items will be available from the crafting rules which will be added very shortly. Regards Refuge Refuge

Done the bulk of my course work and we are hitting the rules hard this weekend. Expect updates for just about all of the rules.
What were changing is:
1) Re-wording and simplifying the spell lists as well as including common spell calls for players to learn.
2) Re-wording and adding specializations to all skills.
3) Renown exchange rules will be posted explaining the benefits of handlers and elder renown.
