Well meatboys and boltheads, here we are, riding some signal from those tight-ass City systems, shit, they don't need it anyway. Like, who are they allowed to talk to now anyhow? Chickenshit suits, cowering in their new exclusion zones...anyways don't get me started.
Right, Short's the name and I am a very personal friend of many of the nuts and bolts living on the finest place in Manbas... yes of course Bridge.
This my first sesh, to open our little interlink to those who can get our feeds randomly dropping around, as usual.
I 'd like to kick off by being the first to welcome our new friends from the Eastlands. All of my crew were cut up about Xadac. But hey, look on the bright side: now you get to find out why we Cyberates are the world's best lovers.
Also I for one feel safer in the Tunnels now with you upright guys around.

Following the City authority reactions to destruction and over-running of Xadacian-zone, information slow to arrive. Now reliant on scouts either braving infested hazard-zone south of Nightlands, or Cyberates willing to pass such information they can through City to what traders still allowed into Gar Bay.
Note: Teleport Array in eastern edge of Wester territory no longer an option. Previously claimed by Tsunamian Empire troops under remit of Xadacians, now disabled by the remaining Tsunamian staff there. Reports show they have fled somewhere within Manbas, now missing.
The Cyberates, who have expressed little regard for them, do not believe they have passed east through their zone, even though both my sources and myself believe they would have tried to do so in an attempt to find any fellow survivors from Xadac Central.
Possible there may be other Empire survivors. They made up bulk of squadron running and supporting Titan war machine for Xadacians and are still unaccounted for.
Both Twisted groups who have contacted Cyberates and North Xadacians mention Darker Angel search parties in areas they claim to have aquired key parts of M.I.A. Titan machine, but make no mention of any hostages or survivors involved in the trade deals they wish to set up.
Major interest in group “Family Cofflung”: seem to be cousins of another group previously encountered by myself and others. Were group with no sympathy for Darker Angel cause, though how far they may be trusted in view of their Twisted temperaments is another matter. In addition to Titan, mention ‘vital’ information on Screaming God Cult.
Other group seems typical of savage brigands floating around destruction of Xadacian territories, hoping for rich pickings. Particular interest: they mention stashing a power system from the machine and laser weaponry matching description of Titan’s Fusion Reactor, but they expected the Darker Angels to uncover it eventually.
Look, I’m not going to beat around the bush any more. Whether these Twisted meant this as a threat or warning is unclear. I’m sure everyone can see this would be a bad situation, especially if the bloody Angels have already got themselves weaponry they want to power with this. I hear those reactors pump out practically enough power to run a Laser Cannon for a lifetime, not to mention the larger meaner stuff it could run.
The Nanolords won’t do anything officially, neither will the Citiers. The Cyberates want to act on this, but are too pushed keeping the Angels off.
I, however, intend to bloody well do something about this, with or without Gar Risone’s authority or anyone else’s. As a Com Trow Commander, I will personally see welcomed in my town anyone who decides to come with me, to see what those freaks have to say. If you need even more incentive, the beers are on me. I don’t care who gets what, as long as the Angels don’t have it.

Nice to see one of those rough outland tanned types keeping the City on it's toes
and I yhink al the favours they owe her must have piled up.
I hear they Hovtanked her and her posse over City dam pronto, even though it took five or six goes.
Boltheads are telling me they've never seen so many westers drinking in one place, even though those tight City authorities didn't let 'em stay within the bounds.
Still I reckon they're more welcome in our Tin backyard eh? Even if they do drink the town below Bridge dry.

Well boltheads, the cat-drone is well and truly amongst the rats. I hear that our man Sam and his posse had a personal scrape with some 'Angels going Outside. That Usta sure knows how to stir it up. Chief Red tried to go visit this Cholic guy the outposts comm.ed us about, but ran into trouble instead.
Still, he's unhurt Sam-fans, so cease your worry-function. He's hanging out at the further fortress-town on the confluence.
I don't know what kind of neighbours these Cofflungs are going to make, but you can be sure they aren't going to break a nail over our protection.
Judging from the sensor alarms set off all round Bridge, I suspect the woman got what she came for. Though passing through City with hardware like that can't have made her popular with their AIs or other authorities.
Still not sure who is so willing to help her through the red tape (and over the dam), but word is both the Kharnan and Doosh are counting her an ally.

Good to hear the babble here again... by my tech, it's darned good to be back in Bridge.
This here Tin-girl missed you all.. but I'm not really here for the sentimental junk. And yeah. Far too much time spent in the grass - you know there are people out here that actually watch the warp barrier for FUN? Darn strange if you ask me...
I should probably explain a little. There's a darn sight worse than the twisted out there; at least none of those scavenging beggars had the want to shoot me. That Commander from Com Trow knows her stuff too... helped us get in and most of us got out alright.
I was kinda figuring on the Twisted out there holding up the blasted Darkers at least for a while. At least as proverbial Cannon Fodder... hope Red's not too mad about that. If he needs anything fixed, he knows where to find me I'm sure.
Gotta say I'm none too fond of sleeping under the stars like that but there's something about out there that really fills you up... it's kinda morish.. so I'll be heading back out at some point most likely.
Yeah, too much grass in the ports no doubt.

Right. Someone in the Westlitside still seems to know how to send code down to outlying connections. Either the City AIs are being generous enough to take these messages through line, or the overworked bums have just left some setup with the westers open that they've forgotten about. Either way I've got my hands on this and am relaying to my various 'scattered colleagues' :

Due to the recent discovery of sustained low-level warp activity in the territory south of Com-Trow, the 5th Skirmishers and their auxiliaries have been redeployed to investigate.
The Com-Trow Council has also sent a garrison of Leaping Clan skukiers to assist the various assigned Investigation groups.
The group assigned to 31.5E, 29.5N have the additional task of clearing and investigating a newly discovered pre-Fall site, previously concealed by surrounding growth.
Assistance in either of these investigations is welcomed.
Further to this, Commander Usta has taken personal charge of this section of the territory and its organisation.
Having deliberately absented herself from duties in Com-Trow, the Council of Com-Trow have arranged a meeting there, to discuss aspects of her conduct over the last year or so.

Guess who just got back from Westlitside with all my internals and externals still where they belong - in one gloriously fine-looking body that just keeps getting better and better. Yes I'm talking about me, Carver that is, of course! Do I sound surprised? Well, perhaps I am a bit.. it's not entirely safe out.. still I'm sure you've already heard the rumours of that and I won't dwell on it. No need for panic..
Met some interesting City folk as well as some others but I'll save that for another time. It might be a bit complicated.
The drinking's good over there though it's not like the Bridge 'fuel' of course. I think next time I head out I'll make sure I got some of the good and rough stuff and enough of it as well... no, not like that... the drink.. the drink.. you dirty oiled-up chrome-lovers! Hey, listen up....
We are currently pursuing a policy of biting the Twisted occupying old Xadacian territory back.
As some of you might be aware between us Boltheads and the N.Xadacains, we have established a few new fortress settlements Outside, both to protect Tunnel and give Xadacians a further refuge.
It is also so we can more easily provide backup for the few remaining native Xadacian outposts and possibly most important to us a staging point for further retaliation against the Darker Angels.
Recently, a large combined force drove out enemy raiders from the site 64E,44N and is now engaged in hunting them down. Scouts have reported back to Bridge that this may be a good position for a new base. This was agreed with, since it already has some intact buildings and facilities, so would provide valued supply support to out-flung forces. There are also reports of pre-Fall comm. gear and a possibilty of local human unknowns.
Volunteers will be asked to:
install/connect power supply for the main building
establish proper area patrols
roughly map the site
install effective gun emplacements
begin a comms. investigation for the site
investigate any possible friendlies in the area
install an area effect forceshield for central buildings area.
Sam Red or a member of his household will be in the area to negotiate any ‘favours’ he can return for any tough enough to stick it.
Our Scouts look forward to seeing you in the area.
