| I think its a great idea :-) I'm not young and hip anymore so don't know which pub would be best. Feb would be good, but just check that it doesnt cross over with any of the player events..

The last meet (two years ago now) took place at The Humber, Humber Road, one Saturday or Sunday afternoon (Can't remember which now).
The Humber has a faint advantage of being near several major bus routes, having a car park, and a good sized function room if there's too many people for the lounge.

Always up for a beer!

That will be the 'Whitefriars', which is also an excellent suggestion... It has a 'traditional' atmosphere and does real ale, and several decent ciders to boot. It kind of counts as my 'local' as there is a regular group of Larpers (Mael and non) who meet Tuesday evenings.
However it is a rather small and poky pub which may not be conducive to having a large number of people descend on it, as it has no specific function rooms. It also has no car park attached directly (though several very close to it) and people may have to brave Coventry Ring Road in order to reach it by car, which is a hair-raising experience even for the Coventrarians who have to use it on a regular basis.
But it is on several bus routes and easily walkable to once within the City Centre.
Keep the suggestions coming in guys, both for location and dates/times.
