Now, Now. Try to remember it's just a game. (actually I thought it would be a lot crapper than it appears to be).
As for Billy Piper, she's turned into a pretty good actress, though it'll be hard to see her as Rose after the last series she did.

Matt Pennington (4/26/2007) But I do think LRP is a hobby best enjoyed in a positive state of mind. If you approach a game with a positive attitude then you're more likely to enjoy yourself there. Are you sure you want a [b]fully[b] functional model- only it has an awful habbit of bursting into Broadway musical numbers when it gets excited?

And whats wrong with broadway, he's just so flexible and well built would be the best way to describe him. Nothing at all wrong with breakng into broadway musicals.

Now I ain’t no Dr Who fan or Whoey or what ever Who fans are called, but I’m surprised they haven’t cashed in and had a kid as a sidekick companion to the Dr yet. The first doctor did if I remember correctly. Wouldn’t it be easier for the little ones the series is ultimately aimed at to be able to identify with child heroes? Just an idea.

| Nah the first Doctor did not have a kid (though did have a "minor" in tow as the Doctors "Granddaughter" Susan Forman (Carol Ann Ford) in the unearthly child was a teenager at school at 15 and played the part of a 15 to 17 depending on the year of the series, that is only slightly yonger than Ace (though the acress playing Ace was what 25 playing 17 however there were several slightly younger than Ace. Lets not forget Susan did leave to get marriet in post Dalek London just a couple of years later at 17. The Kid you must be refering to may be that you are getting the Peter Cushing Movies mixed up with Doctor who Cannon, true they did largely remake 2 episodes, but they cast the part of Susan younger than in the series. It is not certain if Susan was genuinly a biological relation or indeed a timelord herself so it is not known if 15 was her actual age or apparent age, lots of people theorise that she was "adopted" by the Doctor after something (possibly as a result of the Doctors actions) to her parents. She may however have been born on Galifrey in the 49th Century. However not all time lords are Galafrayans as despite most timelords entering the academy at aged 8 there was a plot arc that was meant to have Ace training as a Timelord. Zoe was also 15, Vicki seems to be about the same sort of age too, as do several companions. Adric was a similar age to Susan just over a decade later Mathew Waterhouse was the Youngest male to play a companion and seems to have been 16 as a character.

So- am I right in thinking that you don't consider the Peter Cushing movies to be "real" DR Who, is this a generally accepted concept?
It's just that I remember seeing those movies at sat morning cinema in the early 70's and thinking that they were much more exciting than the rubbish on the telly (even though to this day- for me- Dr Who looks like Jon Pertwee).

| Genually yes they are not considered real, I did like the movies though. and you can catch people out in quizzes by using them as people playing the Doctor. in Radio plays, the children in need spoofs and facets of the Doctor in episodes (due to plot). Hey thats like the James Bond when you add in the 50's Jimmy Bond (American CIA agent in failed Casino Royal pilot for TV series and Casino Royal the 60's (non Brocoli productions one) you can pull up loads more. How many Actors can you name having played the Part of Indiana Jones? I worked that one out and will see if anyone gets all the ones I did. Oh and I also really like Jon Pertwee, and he stopped playing the Doctor before I was born.
