Thought a permanent travel topic would be handy.

Nath asks if anyone can give him a lift from the nearest train station, which I think is Hinckley, north side of M69 and J1, apparently about 4 miles away.

Nath - if you can be at Alvechurch station at 5pm I can collect you from there. You can get there straight from Birmingham New Street, its further down the same line as Selly Oak.

Ian - sorry mate, you and Nath may be a bit squashed on the way to site, but it isnt a long journey anyway, maybe 45-50 mins, more in traffic.

I am quite rubbish and disorganised. I thought the closest station was actually either Leicester or Rugby? (at least according to the Ullesthorpe scouts website). Seems not.

I think I'll likely taxi or whatever from Hinckley but could someone help me with a lift back to the station on Sunday? *big puppy dog eyes*.

I hope arriving at 6:30ish on Friday is ok.. It's a long way from Cardiff!

It's not a problem, Mr Bo. I made it there and back in one piece.

One year on, here we are again. . .

One larper from Bristol looking for carspace to/from the next event.  Can travel on train to meet somewhere on the journey.  Froth and petrol money available.

How much is froth money?

Sorry...

Dave and Del are coming over from Norwich, if there's anyone in the local area it'd save me a lot of hassle getting them transported.
