Kinda dissappointed that they didn`t develop the necrotech musclesuit they were working on.

And contrary to what the video suggests, you`d still need to be in pretty good shape to be able to keep up with the final product. There`s a reason there`s a trained soldier demonstrating this machine, and not just any lab-boy. Great for loading and hauling. Combat effectiveness? I think it`s main purpose will be to enable soldiers to carry around the overburdening amount of hardware the generals want to equip them with. It`s a mini-tank, complete with all the drawbacks.

OTOH, absolutly fabulous for LRP purposes. Think of the monster suits...!

Do you think they got that guy to test the suit out purely based on the fact he's called Rex Jamison?

I remember reading about this sort of thing some months ago.
I think there's more than one project working on such things. Also some legs-only ones.

Good point about using it to carry more.

"Daddy, what are soldiers for?"
"They're for hanging things on."

Apply now for dual heart operations and additional lung grafts.
(dont kill me if i got that wrong, i stuck with elves. Normally only 1 head and it generally was removed from the body within 5 turns)

Yay!! can't wait to meet the inquisition and spend the rest of my life slaving away in some administratum building, while my kids die horrible deaths- subjugating anyone who disagrees with whoevers interpreting the words of the clinically dead guy we all have to worship as we destroy everything we come into contact with.
Awesome!!
