Details of events:

2 Allied and 2 Axis linear based missions!

and details for the 2nd D-Day event!

These events are inspired by but not factual to actual events during the 2ww, they are fictional but not fanastic in any way!

82nd Airborne Sicily 1943 Operation Husky

Feb 2nd – 3rd 2008

Capped at 30 players £45

German Crew is free 30 places.

The 82nd Airborne have been dropped behind enemy lines to secure an occupied Italian communications post, which is vital to the German command.  Once on the ground can the 82nd group up, plan the assault and take out the German controlled position, gather all the intelligence, hold it till late morning and then set charges and blow it up!  How many will make it to the rendezvous and continue the war effort?

Fallschirmjager Denmark - 1940

June 7th – 8th 2008

Capped at 30 players £45

Allied Crew is free 30 places.

The newly formed and untested 7th Air Division have been given the task to take and hold Aarhus airport, Denmark.  The airfield is vital as a fuelling point for the Luftwaffa’s push into Norway and is part of a three pronged operation across Denmark!  The garrison at Aarhus is lightly armed but a quick response force is held in the village only 2 miles away!  German re-enforcements will arrive to take control around miday Sunday.  For the father land and Germany!

82nd Airborne Salerno 1943 Operation Greenback

August 2nd – 3rd 2008

Capped at 30 players £45

German Crew is free 30 places.

The 82nd have been given the responsibility of taking the German garrison out near the village of Ponti, south of the US 5th Armies landing and North of the British 46th and 56th divisions.  Here the two armies will meet up and take Salerno, needed for the invasion of Italy.  The German garrison is made up of veterans from the North African theatre and fresh troops form the German 10th Army.  Can the 82nd make room for the allied assault to meet up!

Fallschirmjager France - 1940

October 4th-5th 2008

Capped at 30 players £45

Allied Crew is free 30 places.

The 7th have been given a doorway into France, take, clear and hold a number of bridges, which in turn will open a path to the Ardennes for the 10th Panzer Division.  British and French troops hold key locations all over area and resistance is going to be tough!  Only an skilled and dedicated unit will overcome the Allied defence.

D-Day + 2 June 8th 1944 ‘Battle for Normandy – Glory on the Hinterlands’

April 19 - 20 Candleston, South Wales

£65 before 1st March, £75 before 1st April, £85 there after.  You must book on as we have capped the game at 200.

It’s been two days since the combined allied forces landed on the shores of code named Sword, Juno, Gold, Omaha and Utah beaches.  Hundreds of thousands of men and tons of equipment are now being deployed and are beginning to sweep their way inland to liberate Normandy.

For the American and British soldiers that landed first, the push forward hasn’t yet stopped!  The experienced and resourceful Greman 352nd Division is holding and defending the vast Hinterlands, which holds vital supply lines the Allied war effort needs to secure and hold.  Pill boxes, hedgerows, spotter towers and artillery positions dot the landscape and must be in allied hands by 2pm Sunday D-Day + 4.  Can the Allied forces take the Glory or will the stalwart German defence prove too much and repel the allied push forward.

Keep an eye out for D-Day 'Battle for Normandy - Carentan, The meeting of two armies'

Date and location tbc but will be held at one of the MOD training villages!

We can now take payment via Paypal sales@gunmanairsoft.co.uk
