| I have good news! To dispel some of the worries that have been voiced here and elsewhere on the Net, I would just like to let everyone know that the order we have been waiting for, which was due about a week back, arrived this morning in full, and at Eldritch's usual high standard of quality. I still don't know why they aren't communicating, though their answering machine was working last week when I rang them, but they ARE still in business and still producing orders, albeit somewhat delayed. So to anyone who is waiting for an order, I would say sit tight, be patient, and it will turn up. I have to say, this has been a very welcome Yule present, as I rather like Lynne and Simon Morgan and would hate to see them go out of business. El the very happy who now has a shiny new axe and dagger  (oh and her Beloved has a new shield)

That's good t hear. I thought I'd give them a lull of "where the hell's my stuff" over Christmas, and take it up again in the New year. Out of interest (and sorry if you've already said), how long ago was it that you made your order before you got your stuff? Wondering about how much longer I'll have to wait...
I suppose it's entirely possible that my stuff may have turned up at my term time address...

We originally ordered in August, got part of the order plus something we didn't order that they sent as an alternative to the shield we wanted that was out of stock. Then we waited for the rest, nothing happened, so we got in touch, they arranged a part credit, had the incorrect shield collected from us, and changed the order to new stuff to the same value as the remainder of the original order. That was around the second week in November. The new stuff and the original shield we had ordered arrived today.

| Hey guys I started this original post oh so many months ago time for an update: After the post here Eldritch got in touch and we arranged for them to re-make the item as they had lost the order. If it wasn't delivered within six weeks we requested a full refund. Guess what! NOTHING Tried communicating with them. No response. It's a terrible shame as I personally have had no problems with them in the past but since my girlfriend and about 3 or 4 of my other friends have had problems with them I think I might have to stop buying anything from them in the future. I'm sure everyone will waiting 7+ months for a polearm is taking the biscuit somewhat. Question is anyone know any reliable companies?

The two companies I've had perfect service from are Skein Mohr (Or however it is spelt) and lrpstore. Both have gone our of their way to be helpful at various points and have never let me down...

I thought Skian Mohr was closing down/had closed down. Plus LRPStore seems a little overpriced compared to Eldritch and last time I looked their swords were all fancy specific ones and I wanted a custom job.

| I hope Skian Mohr are not shutting down as they are legendary especially after the wedding ceremony incident which was a fanststic positive blow for LARP if the story is true. They make some of the highest quality weapons and equipment around, and I really hope they are not closing down as their reputation is outstanding and for more than just being able to carry out a valid conflict resolution action at a wedding, but on the quiality of there products.
