MVB, as far as I can tell, the issues are all mail-order/website related.  Certainly ours were.  No-one I think doubts either the quality of the product or the genuine decency of the Morgans - just their ability to deal with orders made online in a reasonable time-frame, and the reliability of their technology!  As I said, Lynne recently did her utmost to sort out our query and I am expecting some nice new weapons to arrive in about 10 days

If they can't handle the orders or cope with the maintenance issues regarding a website then they shouldnt be trading via that media. Simple really.

They've had quite some time to fix this....

I have used Eldritch for nearly 10 years now,

good stuff. Friendly people, bad at communicating,
I am used to that.

But now their website is gone,
Their phone number ends in an answer phone which says Sorry this mailbox is full.

I know they moved and everything, but I spoke and ordered from them AFTER they moved.

Now I have to say I am a little worried.

www.eldritch.com seems to have vanished, but their other site www.leatherarmour.co.uk is still alive and kicking...

I've emailed them through the LeatherArmour website a few days ago. I'll post here if I get any response.

Just thought I'd update this thread by saying I've not heard anything back. Anyone got other methods of contacting them?

Maybe just being patient is the answer. That seems to be whats expected in many LARP situations to just wait and wait and wait and then eventually hope things get sorted out and not to complain, after all they have/had a great reputation.

But I do think LRP is a hobby best enjoyed in a positive state of mind.
If you approach a game with a positive attitude then you're more likely to enjoy yourself there.

I too am waiting for items, have been two months now. Numerous e-mails to numerous e-mail addresses, attempted to call 'em lots too, and no response. I did try phoning the number that they offer for calling to book 'em for an event (at bottom of the page), but apparently it's a "wrong number". Apparently.

Hell, if gets to New Year and i still haven't heard anything, I shall do as others have suggested and serve papers. You do not take someones money and then completely disappear, no matter how good your reputation might have been. I don't mind waiting for stuff, just so long as I get told I'm going to have to wait for stuff!
