| Well, I have already booked the venue for the first one of these because I am pretty sure it will work but I was wondering what others thought: A PVP set in the land of fairy. Players can take one of four races: The Fey, anything from Elves to dragons etc. as long as it can be physrepped. Ability including being VERY good at magic but not much else. The Wyrdlings: Orcs, Goblins, Trolls etc. Very physical but with some crafting skills etc. The Lost:Undead, handled differently to the other races, they have a series of advantages and disadvantages. We are thinking more along the lines of Ghosts etc. than vampires though it is possible. Cuckoo's: Humans, anything up to the victorian era, though no technology has passed into fairy with them. Good at crafting, some magic. System works with characters buying skills either for themselves or property sharable between multiple characters (fortresses etc.) Most skills (praticaly magic ones) are left vague. allowing each character to flesh out specialist ability and spells. Combat one hit to a location unless additional skills are bought. And a system of social rank denotes the amount of upkeep a character needs as well as how much is made of his/there property's. (Characters can also crush or raise another's rank on a sliding scale.) The first evnt will only allow four "factions" but future events will allow characters to build there own groups. The Iron Crown: "Evil" Fey who believe that both Wyrdlings and Cuckoos are slaves or worse. Expansionists they seek to build a military presence and intimidate others into there ideals. Knights of the Swan: Traders and minstrels as well as fighters these are rank manipulators who believe in freedom for all and personal justice. The Cuckoo in Flight: Renegade Cuckoo's (and others) from the Iron Crown this faction has but one goal: Freedom. The Tribe: Wyrdlings on an expansionist drive. Both military and trade. They want to be taken seriously on the world stage. If this sounds interesting to you we are running a semi public event on the 20th of January at the Hobbit pub in Southampton. The event will be free, but donations would be gratefully resieved. The is the forum for the sponsors of this system: WyvernsTales http://wyvernstales.proboards54.com/index.cgi
