| Where do we start..... We had foot and mouth 1/4 mile up the road threatening to close the site, our principal NPC had to drop out last minute cos his mum fell ill, another NPC came down with a cold on the day, one of the PCs wasnt well so had to leave, an NPC managed to rip the underside of her car off on the way to the site, my car got vandalised at some point over the weekend, our original caterer couldnt make it and neither could our back up, it rained all Friday and Saturday, and we didn't get enough players to break even and ended up about £200 down. So not the best game in the world from an organisation point of view, but the players really enjoyed it apparently, and everything went really smoothly game-wise Lessons learned 1) ALWAYS make sure you've locked your car 2) Make contingency plans just in case heavy rain does strike 3) Its better to start collecting bookings early with the potential of having to cancel, rather than leaving it til you think you'll be fine. Otherwise people are already booked / skint. 4) Try and have a person or two on standby just in case you lose a key NPC

| Confessions of a NPC: I almost killed one of the players. My character was stabbed up after a running fight with the party's swordsmen. I slumped against the tree, which then fell over and almost crushed one of the players...
